I can take a number of things from the games I play. I played Shadowbane for a number of years, and so I feel like I earned the right to say that I will be willing to suffer through bad coding in order to get to a fun game. What I can't stand is when people put arbitrary walls between me and the game they have created for me to play. I don't mind rules, I just like to know what they are so that I don't waste my time playing in the "wrong" way.

I say it is the best not because of what it always is, but because of the possibility of what it can be. Even if you are a horribly jaded citizen like myself who believes our political system has evolved into something that no longer understands what it means to be a "normal" person living in our country... whew. Yes, even if you are that person you have to sit back in awe when you look at our process.
Regardless of which way your vote was cast, or if you play it loose and voted both ways down the ticket, you have to admire a system that allows for such diversity and still manages to come back in unity at the end of it all. How does that happen? How can people who have such seemingly diverse beliefs come together and make up one country? I think it is because on a deeper level we are really not all that different. Move past economic incentives, school programs, and military doctrines and in the end most people living here want America to be better. We... [Read More]
